Theater

I have always loved painting. Theater painting is so extremely different than small scale painting. I transform large spaces to be 'read' from 60 ft away sometimes, rather than painting small details the size of the tip of a match as I also love to do. In theater, I get to trick peoples minds into believing a set we spent a week on is a real library. I can bring a 16 ft tall tree into a building that can be deconstructed and put away. It's creative, the deadlines are insane so I have to be fast, I problem solve the entire time. It's a rush and I'm so grateful I found myself in these spaces.
